Touriste presents the Hotel de la Boétie

Touriste presents their latest Parisian address in the heart of the Champs-Élysées district in Paris: the Hotel de la Boétie. The imagination of the Swedish architect is evident throughout the Hotel de la Boétie, giving it a strong and unique identity in this Parisian neighborhood. Located on the street of the same name, this establishment has 40 rooms and was designed by the talented designer Beata Heuman, who brings her creative vision of Parisian style to her very first hotel project.

Under British influence, the Hotel de la Boétie boasts a decidedly vintage decor, infused with elegance and vibrant colors, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The imagination of the Swedish architect is evident throughout the Hotel de la Boétie, giving it a strong and unique identity in this Parisian neighborhood.

Preserving the historic codes and heritage of the original building, architect and designer Beata Heuman has retained its authentic character, as seen in the marble lobby and retro reception sign. Here begins a symphony of eras, a harmonious patchwork where the 20th century meets contemporary trends. For example, it was during a trip to Florence that the marble floors of the Medici chapels inspired Beata Heuman to create woven headboards, reminiscent of tapestries—a decorative detail she noticed among interior designers, especially at the Beauregard Hotel.

Playful and sometimes theatrical, the decor is enhanced by thoughtful details, as seen in the grand salon where silver-toned walls interact with custom-made sconces and artwork by the artist Kirsty Lackie.

The play of colors continues on the floors; from dark blue to lighter shades and various hues of brown, three color palettes invite themselves into the rooms. Designed by Beata Heuman, the wooden desks and nightstands will age gracefully over time, just like the pieces from her collection, offering a diverse range of choices.

Beata received her training under Nicky Haslam, and the Swedish designer founded her eponymous studio in 2013.

Based in London, she creates characterful interiors with a particular focus on detail, sometimes poetic and often bursting with color.

From her Scandinavian upbringing, she retains a raw and practical sense of decoration that balances the eccentric mix and match of British culture. Her collections include pieces inspired by a fantastical bestiary, wallpapers with strong personalities, sculpted handles, custom-made rugs, and lighting fixtures.
